When it comes to beginning a Stihl FS 56 RC-E string trimmer from a cold condition, it’s vital that the primer bulb functions efficiently to dump fuel to the carburetor. Pop the old primer wax in the assembly and discard it. Push the new primer bulb into place. Reinstall the screws that attach the primer bulb assembly to the carburetor.
Replace the choke plate to the machine and reinstall the carburetor mounting screws to reattach the carburetor to the trimmer. Reinstall the air filter and screw the air filter cover into place. Reconnect the spark plug wire to the spark plug. Push the primer bulb several times and initiate the trimmer.
